Electric Film Heater Engineer (f/m/d)

Your mission
As a vital member of our engineering team, you'll be instrumental in developing and refining Holyvolt's direct electric film heater products, bridging deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of market needs and customer applications.

  • End-to-End Product Contribution: Contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to testing, validation, and support, ensuring technical excellence aligns with market demands.
  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Drive the engineering aspects of product development for thin- and thick-film heaters, working closely with product management and sales teams to translate market insights into technical specifications and innovative solutions.
  • Customer Application Focus: Understand and incorporate customer application requirements into the design and development process, ensuring our film heaters meet real-world needs and performance expectations.
  • Hands-on Engineering & Optimization: Engage in the hands-on design, prototyping, and testing of film heater components and systems, identifying and implementing optimizations for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Technical Validation & Market Alignment: Develop and execute rigorous testing protocols to validate product performance against technical specifications and market requirements, ensuring a successful product launch and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Technical Liaison: Serve as a key technical resource for product management, sales, and customer support, providing technical expertise, addressing inquiries, and contributing to product positioning and messaging.
  • Technical Documentation & Business Context: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation while understanding its relevance within the broader business context, including market trends and competitive landscapes.

Your profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or related field).
  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in product development, ideally within heating technologies, thermal management, or thin-film applications, with demonstrated interaction with product management and/or sales teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in direct electric heating principles, materials, fabrication techniques, and application engineering.
  • Proven ability to apply engineering principles to solve real-world customer challenges and translate market needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with CAD software, testing methodologies, and data analysis to drive design decisions and product improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluent in English, with Swedish or German as a plus; strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
